One more evidence that the Republican party is back is the quality of the debaters who met at the City Club Wednesday to debate: DuPage county states attorney Joe Birkett and State Sen. Steve Rauschenberger. Who won? I know and like both but I’d say Birkett—not that he routed Rauschenberger but that he was the more aggressive of the two. But then Rauschenberger is the more relaxed, convivial and easy-going of the two. Perhaps I am wrong. Clue me in on your choice on Readers’ Comments.
