Two of my favorites will appear together at last on my Political Shootout Sunday program on WLS (8 to 9 p.m., AM 890): Frank Penn, former Chicago police officer and decorated veteran of Vietnam and Becky Carroll, Gov. Blagojevich’s spokesperson on issues of management and budget. They’re probably going to be more exciting than any formal candidates because they don’t have to make nicey-nice, just slug it out.
