The City Club has just signed up as co-sponsor with WTTW-TV on a number of televised debates. On March 8 in the evening, candidates for the Cook county board both Democrat and Republican. On March 9 again in the evening the Democratic gubernatorial debate featuring Gov. Blagojevich and Edwin Eisendrath. On March 16 in the evening the Republican gubernatorial debate featuring (it is hoped) Judy Baar Topinka, Jim Oberweis, Ron Gidwitz and Bill Brady. City Club members and patrons who want to attend the debates at the WTTW studio are requested to contribute to the Club to defray the cost of the debates. For information call (312) 565-6500.
