Becky Carroll, the governor’s spokeswoman in the Office of Management and Budget and attorney Russ Stewart, political analyst for Nadig newspapers, made a great combination and their tussle cleared the air over a number of issues on WLS Sunday night. Carroll has either tied or topped everyone she’s been on with thus far: I call this a tie which doesn’t denigrate Stewart because his prosecutorial style and her machine-gun staccato response made for an exciting show.
