Once more, this Sunday my WLS show will feature Dorothy Brown, the Democratic Clerk of the Circuit Court who yesterday announced that she is running for Mayor of Chicago…and State Senator Carole Pankau, the Republican nominee for state Comptroller.

State Representative Jack Franks (D-Woodstock) will discuss the legislative process at my Roosevelt University class on Thursday night September 7, the session beginning at 6 p.m. There is still time to join the class which costs $250 for a three-month span—a very good deal, if you ask me. Speakers at other sessions will be former Governor Jim Edgar talking about the executive department and U. S. Rep. Ray LaHood, (R-IL) whose parliamentary skills require him to frequently preside over the rambunctious House. I am indebted to all speakers who will participate.
