Barnich vs. Moore on Sunday’s Shootout

Former Topinka campaign manager Terry Barnich will face 49th ward alderman and extreme liberal (member of the Democratic National Committee) Joe Moore on Sunday’s WLS-AM radio show at 8 p.m. All Topinka-ing aside, pragmatist Barnich is one of the smartest operatives in the Republican party (who would call himself a pro-lifer, if running himself) who maneuvered the Topinka ship through some dangerous straits (Oberweis’ and Gidwitz’s blasts and the famous “Pay to Play Polka” commercial). Barnich was a last-minute entry into the 2004 U. S. Senate sweepstakes where he would have been far superior, all agree, to Alan Keyes who must have taken a blood oath to offend everybody and their distant relatives at least ten times in the campaign.
