He was recently thrashed in a debate with Dinesh D'souza and an honest contemplation of those arguments could turn his mind-they do after all, desire truth.Leon Dixonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3709087743016851805.post-87987638990620159342008-05-12T12:30:02.000-05:002008-05-12T12:30:02.000-05:00To those that are interested in morbid pathology (...To those that are interested in morbid pathology (especially Hichens mindFPUAN), read a fine book by Martin Amis -<br>"KOBA the DREAD (Laughter and the 20 Million" If you don't hurl at least twice you are not sane.Frank Nofsingernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3709087743016851805.post-66486771054321922002008-05-12T12:01:28.000-05:002008-05-12T12:01:28.000-05:00Our elder son is a printer for the Knights of Colu...Our elder son is a printer for the Knights of Columbus here in New Haven, CT. She went out of her way to thank the people that worked to create the stuff that she needed. The printing facility is across a six-lane roadway from the big tower that the Supreme Knight and his crew reside.Frank Nofsingernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3709087743016851805.post-3403651807725288592008-05-12T06:04:03.000-05:002008-05-12T06:04:03.000-05:00Great story about Mother Theresa, thanks for shari...Great story about Mother Theresa, thanks for sharing it. I enjoy reading Hitchens because he has such a wonderful command of the english language and the ability to turn a phrase. Hitchens strikes me as a guy who's anti-Catholicism, and in particular his hatred for Mother Theresa and Pope John Paul II, reflects more of an inner-struggle and not the product of scientific insight. I would not be the least bit suprised if he were to fully embrace Catholism in the future.Steve McGlynnnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3709087743016851805.post-16342718888623355052008-05-12T04:23:52.000-05:002008-05-12T04:23:52.000-05:00I am surprised that you would even care what Chris...I am surprised that you would even care what Christopher Hitchens ever wrote considering his years typing out his streams of mediocre thoughts for that Leftist rag, "The Nation." Hitchens has been an interesting, somewhat talented, mentally unstable and virulent anti-Catholic. He spewed a lot of venom back in the 1980s over the canonization of Saint Maximilian Kolbe.<br>Recently, I have read that he may be experiencing something of a religious conversion--and that wouldn't surprise me either. It may even improve his writing. As for his own alleged problems, perhaps some prayers for Matthew Talbott's intercession might be in order. Better yet, we could all ask Saint Teresa of Calcutta and Saint Maximilian Kolbe to pray for the guy.John Hetmannoreply@blogger.com
