Never once did they allow..<br><br>1) Lower taxes to increase growth and overall revenues<br><br>2) School competition using vouchers, parochial schools, funding following the students rather than the district, tax relief for home schooling.<br><br>3) Interstate competition on Health Insurance to allow customers to search out the best value for their money<br><br>4) Privatization of various public functions (Secretary of State office/Recorder of Deeds/Tollways) etc to totally reduce State headcount, and bring in immediate cash.<br><br>On the other hand, the McKinsey people have a grasp on the reasons the State should<br><br>1)shift from defined benefit to defined contribution retirement programs<br><br>2)Increase Charter Schools<br><br>3) Cut the crap with early retirement<br><br>CU Mr T,<br>JBPJohn Powersnoreply@blogger.com
