It is nonetheless a remarkable story and another example of how fluid politics can be in Minnesota (unlike here in the Land of Lincoln). If the voting public in Minnesota is offended, the rascals will be turned out of office in a collective knee jerk reaction. The election of Governor Arne Carlson (R) is another amazing story.<br><br>The state bird of Minnesota (and the national bird symbol for Canada) is the loon.
